Pittsburgh, PA (June 16th, 2014) – The 32nd Annual ‘Ohio Sprint Speedweek’ featuring the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions kicks off this Friday night, June 20th at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio. Sprint car racing’s elite will follow the grueling nine (9) day schedule; complete with nine (9) consecutive nights of racing at eight (8) different racing venues in all corners of the ‘Buckeye State.’ Danny Holtgraver, who pilots the Hunter Racing, Berlin Natural Bakery, Golden Flavor Sesame Sticks, Bonnell’s Rod Shop, Alternative Power Sources, WestView Motors, DKW Transport, no. 10H ‘410’ sprinter, will once again join the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions during the entire speedweek; looking to be the most consistent driver in Ohio and earn a career-first ‘Ohio Sprint Speedweek’ title.
The 32nd edition of ‘Ohio Sprint Speedweek’ will launch on Friday evening June 20th at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio. From there, Holtgraver and the UNOH All Stars will visit the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio on Saturday, June 21st. Speedweek continues on Sunday, June 22nd at the Waynesfield Raceway Park; followed by a Monday night visit to the NAPA Wayne County Speedway near Orrville, Ohio on June 23rd. The Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio will host the UNOH All Star speedweek travelers on Tuesday, June 24th; with Wednesday night action being held at the Atomic Speedway near Chillicothe, Ohio on June 25th.
The first of two speedweek visits to the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio will take place on Thursday, June 26th. Limaland Motorsports Park, home of the ‘Brad Doty Classic,’ will showcase the 32nd Annual ‘Ohio Sprint Speedweek’ on Friday night, June 27th; all before speedweek comes to a close on Saturday, June 28th with the $10,000-to-win finale at Fremont Speedway. Each event will tally points towards the overall ‘Ohio Sprint Speedweek’ championship; as well as points towards the UNOH All Star ‘National’ and ‘Ohio Region’ standings.
Danny Holtgraver and Hunter Racing will enter their upcoming nine-day speedweek adventure fourth (4th) in the current UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions ‘National’ standings. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native also finds himself inside the top-five of the current UNOH All Star ‘Ohio Region’ standings; fifth officially heading into Attica Raceway Park on June 20th. Danny Holtgraver is a one-time winner with the UNOH All Stars already in 2014; earning the $5,000 victory on Saturday, June 7th at the Butler Speedway near Quincy, Michigan.
During recent UNOH All Star competition, Danny Holtgraver visited the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Saturday, June 14th. The former Lernerville Speedway track champion did not qualify for feature action at the Pigeon Hills oval. Holtgraver was involved in a heat race incident resulting in a heat race ‘DNF.’ The pilot of the Hunter Racing ‘10H’ would make repairs, but failed to transfer from B-main action.
If things go well during ‘Ohio Sprint Speedweek,’ Danny Holtgraver does plan to make an appearance at the Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway near Imperial, Pennsylvania on Sunday, June 29th. A decision will be made at a later date.
