BENTON RIDGE, Ohio (May 9, 2024) – As long as Mother Nature cooperates, a phrase all-too-common in 2024, Greg Wilson and Greg Wilson Racing will continue their 2024 campaign with a doubleheader weekend in the Buckeye State, set to visit Attica Raceway Park on Friday, May 10, followed by a stop at Sharon Speedway on Saturday, May 11. Attica will host an AFCS program while Sharon will open its gates for the first time.
A dual purpose weekend for the Benton Ridge, Ohio, native, Wilson will not only chase each of the $4,000 paydays, but the former All Star champion will use the track time as a valuable test session, rapidly preparing for the upcoming World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series invasion at each of the respective facilities.
The Greatest Show On Dirt will visit Attica Raceway Park on Friday, May 17, and Sharon Speedway on Saturday, May 18. The events will pay $12,000-to-win each.
“We’re excited to get things turned around, as long as the weather allows for it,” Wilson, driver of the Hercules Tires, Ohio Logistics Warehousing & Transportation, DNC Hydraulics, No. W20 sprint car, said. “Getting some additional lap time before the Outlaws invade always proves to be a benefit. It all starts with qualifying. Those two laps will make or break your evening and we want to be ready for that.”
Certainly no stranger to each of the Ohio landmarks, Wilson’s most recent highlight was recorded at Attica Raceway Park, finishing third in the one-day Spring Nationals on April 13.
“Just so proud of this entire team…our partners, my family…everyone plays such an important role,” Wilson added. “We have a lot of potential. We just have to bring that to life. No better time than now.”
