Denver, PA (9/30/2012) – Denver, Pennsylvania native and Central Pennsylvania ‘410’ sprint car regular, Alan Krimes, finished 24th in the 50th Annual ‘Morgan Hughes National Open’ Saturday evening, September 29th, at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The Conestoga Valley Garage ’87’ team earned a spot in the 40 lap, $50,000-to-win, World of Outlaws main event by way of transferring through the evening’s consolation B-main. Unfortunately, Krimes’ motor would expire during the evening’s 50 lap main event; resulting in a mid-race caution and a 24th place finish. There were 54 World of Outlaws sprint cars signed in for action on Saturday night. Donny Schatz would earn his 5th National Open victory.
