York, PA (9/25/2012) – York, Pennsylvania native and Central Pennsylvania ‘410’ sprint car competitor, Cory Haas, anxiously awaits the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series invasion this Friday and Saturday, September 28th and 29th, at Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. The 2012 Jack Gunn Memorial winner at Williams Grove Speedway has been on a recent hot streak at the famed half-mile; recording top five and top ten finishes on a consistent basis. The familiar Michael Barshinger owned ’11c’ operation finished inside the top ten once again at ‘The Grove’ on Friday evening, September 21st. Haas finished sixth in Friday night’s ‘Outlaw Tune-up’ sprint car main event.The ‘Outlaw Tune-up’ format on Friday evening allowed Central Pennsylvania sprint car teams to become more familiar with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series format before the annual ‘Morgan Hughes National Open’ takes place this Friday and Saturday. The former Williams Grove Speedway ‘358’ sprint car track champion looks to be a contender for Saturday night’s $50,000 ‘National Open’ top prize! 

Haas capped off his recent weekend with a runner-up finish at Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania on Saturday evening, September 22nd!
