Adults Get $5 Off General Admission With Newspaper Ad Or Raincheck Wristband

Port Royal – Port Royal Speedway will welcome Appalachian Mountain Dirt Late Model Speedweek next Tuesday, June 4 at 7 pm.

The Tuesday special will feature the super lates in a 40-lap feature that will pay $5,000 to the winner.

The limited 358 late models will also be on the program at Port Royal with 358 lates that are legal to run at Williams Grove, Susquehanna, Hagerstown and Grandview Speedways will be permitted to compete at Port as well as the next night at Lincoln Speedway, using hometrack rules.

As has been customary with the series since its inception in 2009, a stout field of super late models is expected to again follow all the 2013 series dates.

In season’s past, the series has attracted a number of national stars including Josh Richards, Jimmy Mars and many others and this year should be no different.

Adult general admission for the show is set at $25 however adults can receive $5 off general admission if they present any Port Royal Speedway newspaper advertisement or 2013 raincheck wristband at the ticket window. Students ages 12 – 18 will be admitted for JUST $5.

This year’s late model speedweek kicks off at Potomac Speedway on May 31 before moving on to Hagerstown Speedway, June 1; Winchester Speedway, June 2; Roaring Knob, June 3; Port Royal, June 4; and Lincoln Speedway on June 5.

Port Royal will also host its usual program of Saturday night racing on June 1 including super late models on the program.

Previous Port Royal late model speedweek series winners have been Jeremy Miller in 2010 and Matt Parks in 2011.

Port Royal will welcome the wingless sprint stars of USAC coming up on Saturday June 8 when the track hosts EMMR/Penn Central Racing Reunion Honoree Night along with the ARDC Midgets and pro stocks.

The wingless stars of the United States Auto Club 410 sprints will tour the big half-mile for only the second time in the history of either organization.

The 2013 USAC Eastern Storm tour visit to Port Royal will showcase the wingless warriors in a 30-lap, $6,000 to win feature event
