POWRi POWERHOUSE: Xavier Doney and Doney-Lawson Racing victorious at 34 Raceway, second POWRi triumph of 2025

ODESSA, Mo. (September 2, 2025) – Xavier Doney, Doney-Lawson Racing, and the Schnee-Lawson Chassis House Cars put it all together during their recent weekend of competition, not only scoring three consecutive top-ten appearances with the POWRi Honest Abe Roofing 410 Outlaw Sprint League, but accomplishing victory in the process, doing so at 34 Raceway in West Burlington, Iowa, on Friday, August 29.
Doney, ace of the Design Source Flooring, Schnee-Lawson Chassis, Motor Haven, MVP Logistics, T&T Equine, Prime Composite, Steve & Mandy Griffin Family, JDLawsonMedia, Stanton Racing Engines, No. 74 sprint car, led all 30 circuits of Friday’s POWRi A-Main in West Burlington, activating his evening’s visit with a heat race victory. The triumph, resulting in a $5,000 payday, was Doney’s third-ever POWRi victory and his second of the season, the first occurring at Missouri State Fair Speedway on Sunday, August 17.
Xavier Doney and Doney-Lawson Racing raced on to finish seventh and sixth in Lake Ozark Speedway’s “SprintMania” doubleheader on Saturday and Sunday, August 30-31. The Odessa, Missouri, native, who is currently third in the POWRi Outlaw Sprint League standings, padded his weekend stat book with a heat race victory on Sunday.
Natalie Doney, Xavier’s younger sister and fellow full-time ace with POWRi in 2025, highlighted her weekend of competition with an A-Main start on Friday at 34 Raceway, driving on to a 16th-place finish. The young lady out of Odessa is currently 12th in the POWRi standings, continuing her chase toward Rookie of the Year honors.

Xavier Doney, Natalie Doney, and Doney-Lawson Racing will resume their 2025 campaign with a POWRi Honest Abe Roofing 410 Outlaw Sprint League double through Illinois and Missouri, visiting Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois, and Benton Speedway in Benton, Missouri, on Friday and Saturday, September 5-6.
