Quick Review/Full Results: Chris Andrews and Bobby Clark Earn F.A.S.T. Victories at Fremont Speedway During Night #2 of 2015 Season

Fremont, OH (April 18th, 2015) – Fremont/Attica Sprint Title action continued on Saturday evening, April 18th at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio. The F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series and the F.A.S.T. ‘305’ Championship Series were each featured at ‘The Track That Action Built.’
Polesitter Chris Andrews earned the Kistler Racing Products F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service main event win at Fremont Speedway; holding off defending F.A.S.T. champion Byron Reed and former champion Craig Mintz during the entire 30-lap distance. For Andrews, it was a near perfect evening in Fremont, Ohio; recording the night’s fastest time during qualifying, and also winning the dash. The 2014 F.A.S.T. championship series runner-up finished tenth during the F.A.S.T. opener on April 17th at Attica Raceway Park.
Cap Henry, who started on the outside of row number two, would finish fourth during F.A.S.T. main event action for a second consecutive night. Eighth starting Brian Smith would round out the top-five finishers at Fremont Speedway.
During JLH General Contractors F.A.S.T. ‘305’ Championship Series presented by Engine Pro main event action, it was fourth place starter Bobby Clark taking advantage of lapped traffic; passing leader Steve Rando with four laps remaining to secure his first F.A.S.T. win of 2015. Steve Rando would hold on for second during the twenty-five lapper; followed by Texas native T.J. Michael, thirteenth starting Alvin Roepke, and Ricky Peterson. Clark finished second during night #1 of F.A.S.T. action at Attica Raceway Park on April 17th.
Twenty-four F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series sprint cars signed in for competition at the Fremont Speedway. Sandusky, Ohio’s Chris Andrews recorded the fastest time of the night during qualifying time trials. Nate Dussel, Craig Mintz, Stuart Brubaker and Broc Martin qualified in positions two through five. ‘Mad Max’ Stambaugh, Dean Jacobs, and Dain Naida all earned victories during their respective heat races. Jacobs is now two-for-two during F.A.S.T. heat race competition in 2015. Fast timer Chris Andrews won the evening’s dash. Stuart Brubaker capped-off preliminary action by winning the F.A.S.T. B-main.
The F.A.S.T. ‘305’ Championship Series had twenty-one sprinters entered for action during night #2. Preliminary action would see commanding heat race victories by Bobby Clark, Steve Rando, and Ricky Peterson.

History Note: Dean Jacobs and Jordan Ryan each earned F.A.S.T. victories at the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio on Friday evening, April 17th; officially kicking-off the 2015 F.A.S.T. championship campaign. Jacobs went wire-to-wire during the non-stop, 30-lap F.A.S.T. ‘410’ A-main at Attica; holding off defending F.A.S.T champion Byron Reed. Ryan earned his F.A.S.T. ‘305’ win from the outside-pole position; surviving a combination green/white flag restart and a charge by Bobby Clark.
Looking Ahead: The Fremont/Attica Sprint Title returns to competition on Friday and Saturday, May 1st & 2nd at Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Fremont. The May 1st/2nd weekend will feature the F.A.S.T. ‘410’ sprinters, only. The F.A.S.T. ‘305’ championship series schedule picks back up on Friday and Saturday, May 15th & 16th.
