Fremont, Ohio (June 13th, 2015) – After losing the June 12th portion of the Fremont/Attica Sprint Title, or F.A.S.T., Championship Series weekend due to wet weather conditions, the F.A.S.T. schedule would move ahead to the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio on Saturday, June 13th. The Sandusky County Fairgrounds dirt oval hosted each of the F.A.S.T. Championship Series on Saturday evening; including the Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘410’ Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service and the JLH General Contractors Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘305’ Championship Series presented by Engine Pro. The June 13th program was the tenth round of F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series competition in 2015 and the sixth round of F.A.S.T. ‘305’ Championship Series competition.

Former Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘410’ Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service champion Craig Mintz picked up the F.A.S.T. ‘410’ main event victory on Saturday evening at Fremont Speedway. It was his first F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series main event win of 2015 and his first victory of the year at Fremont Speedway. Mintz, who entered the evening third in the 2015 F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series standings, took command of the 30-lap, $2,500-to-win main event with 24 laps in the books; getting by race leader and outside polesitter D.J. Foos. Foos would hold on to finish second, followed by a seventh starting Byron Reed. Caleb Griffith and Cap Henry rounded out the top-five. Texas native T.J. Michael was the evening’s ‘Hard Charger’ after climbing eight positions to finish 11th. There was only one caution during the ‘410’ main event; occurring with six laps in the books for Oregon native Roger Crockett.

John Ivy earned the JLH General Contractors Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘305’ Championship Series presented by Engine Pro main event victory on Saturday night at Fremont Speedway; his first F.A.S.T. ‘305’ victory of 2015. Ivy, who charged forward from the 11th starting position, took command of the 25-lap main event with 14 laps in the books; getting by polesitter and race leader Ricky Peterson. Alvin Roepke would come home second; followed by Ricky Peterson, 13th starting Bobby Clark, and Steve Rando.

There were 28 F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series sprint cars signed in for action at Fremont Speedway. Craig Mintz earned the fastest time of the night during F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series qualifying time trials; recording an official time of 12.598 seconds. Dean Jacobs, Broc Martin, Caleb Griffith, and Stuart Brubaker rounded out the top-five fastest qualifiers. Danny Reidy, ‘410’ rookie Nate Dussel and Todd Heller each earned victories during their respective heat races. Todd Heller continued to show dominance during preliminary competition by winning the ‘Australian Pursuit.’ The ‘Australian Pursuit’ replaced the F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series dash during the program; with the finishing order determining the top-six starting positions in the main event. Brian Smith ended all preliminary action by earning the B-main victory.

A solid car count of 29 F.A.S.T. ‘305’ Championship Series sprint cars were on hand at the Fremont oval. Steve Rando, Brandon Moore and John Ivy each earned victories during heat race competition. Kelsey Ivy ended all F.A.S.T. ‘305’ Championship Series preliminary action by winning the B-main.
