Rain delays World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series at Lincoln Speedway to Thursday
Gettysburg Clash kicks off three consecutive nights of Outlaws vs. PA Posse in Central Pa.
ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. — May 15, 2013 — An evening rain forced World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series and Lincoln Speedway officials to postpone Wednesday night’s Gettysburg Clash to Thursday. A second round of rain at the track at approximately 8:30 p.m. made the track impossible to prep until after 10 p.m. at the earliest, leaving little choice but to delay the event one day.
Fans should keep their ticket and exchange it for tomorrow’s ticket at the gate. Spectator gates will open at 4 p.m. with hot laps scheduled for 7 p.m. Next up on the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series schedule is Williams Grove on Friday and Saturday for two full events culminating with the Morgan Cup.
