FOREST, Ohio (April 25, 2019) – With an early season victory at Atomic Speedway erasing any or all doubt associated with their program, it is official that Ray Marshall Motorsports and Pleasant Hill, Ohio’s Matt Westfall will join forces yet again, this time setting aim on a Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series (BOSS Series) championship in 2019.

For Westfall, who owns the single-season BOSS Series win record of four victories, a BOSS championship would put an exclamation point on an already-impressive racing resume that includes triumphs and championships across multiple disciplines of short track competition including modifieds, late models, and of course, sprint cars.

With the 2019 BOSS Series opener at Atomic Speedway already under their belts, Matt Westfall and Ray Marshall Motorsports will continue down the BOSS path and participate in a doubleheader in the Hoosier State on Saturday and Sunday, April 27 & 28. Before BOSS action commences, Ray Marshall Motorsports will activate the weekend, officially, with a visit to Gas City (Ind.) Speedway on Friday, April 26.

BOSS action will be contested at Montpelier Motor Speedway on Saturday, followed by a stop at the legendary Kokomo Speedway on Sunday.

“I want to thank Ray Marshall and the entire team for this opportunity,” Matt Westfall explained, who will pilot the ever-familiar Ray Marshall Motorsports/Buckeye Machine Fabricators, Inc./Crazy Lady Restaurant and Bar/Hempy Water/DPI Ink/’Bumblebee Express’/No. 33M non-wing sprint car. “We have a great connection and we’ve been fortunate enough to find success on a lot of different levels. I’m excited to see what 2019 has in store for us. To win the BOSS opener at Atomic was huge. There really isn’t a better way to start a season.”

In addition to a full slate of BOSS Series competition, Matt Westfall and Ray Marshall Motorsports will also compete in a number of USAC events including #LetsRaceTwo weekend at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio.

“It is going to be an exciting season. We are thrilled to have Matt [Westfall] take the reins for us once again,” Ray Marshall explained, who started his Ray Marshall Motorsports program in 2006. “I think we have what it takes to earn a championship in 2019, or at least make that feat our end goal. We have a lot of great people who back this team and make a schedule like ours possible. We are going to do whatever it takes to represent them at the highest level.”

The 2019 BOSS campaign consists of 19 events throughout much of Ohio, Indiana, Pennsylvania, and Kentucky. Additional information can be found on the Web at www.buckeyesprints.com.
