Ohio/West Virginia BOGO Night
PITTSBURGH, PA — Join us at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway this Saturday, May 18th as we present another Action Event featuring the Diehl of Robinson Super Late Models, Precise Racing Products RUSH Pro-Late Models, Sunoco Race Fuels Late Model Sportsman, Miley BP Carwash Hobby Stocks and Imperial Heights Garage Young Guns.

Ohio and West Virginia residents who present a valid photo ID will receive “buy one get one free” grandstand admission and the Late Sportsman Model Sportsman Showdown event that was originally scheduled for last Saturday will find the division’s competitors competing in a 20 lap main event paying $700 to win and $100 to start.

“We wanted to see if the fans and competitors would support the Late Model Sportsman event that was rained out last week by “liking” the post on our Facebook page. It was intended to provide a forum for the fans to show their support of the drivers and crew members who spend so many hours in the garage each week preparing for the weekend racing action, speedway owner Matt Miley. “This event will be a great tune up for the Ed Laboon Memorial event on June 1st.” The Sportsman competitors will begin their evening with group time trials that will determine their heat race lineups. The top four finishers in each preliminary event will then redraw for their starting positions in the main event.

Thus far in 2013 there has not been a repeat winner in divisional competition. Nick Kocuba, who lives just a short distance away from the speedway captured his first victory in more than one year on opening day while Brian Huchko scored the win on April 20th. Veteran Jeff Bronszewski scored his first checkered of the young season on April 27th and Bill Robertson continued the string of new winners last Saturday evening. Other competitors expected to be in action include Drew, Craig and Joey Koteles, Wayne Carbo and Joe Anthony.

Precise Racing Products RUSH Pro-Late Model competitors are reminded that the RUSH Series management has decided to allow competitors to use the FT200 and FT400 until May 31, 2013 at all weekly and touring events. From May 31 forward the Crate Racin’ D21 & D55 will be the only allowable tires.

The Pit and Grandstand Admission Gates for this Saturday’s event open at 5:00PM with the first green flag waving promptly at 7:00PM.

Adult Grandstand Admission is $15.00. Seniors, Ages 60 and Over, are admitted for $14.00 with Juniors, Ages 13 to 16, priced at $10.00.
