Reutzel all-out impressive in Wheatland, takes High Limit lead; RSR Shop Party and Knoxville double ahead

KNOXVILLE, Iowa (June 30, 2025) – Aaron Reutzel and Ridge & Sons Racing (RSR) were all-out impressive in their three-day Diamond Classic visit to Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri, not only earning three consecutive High Limit Racing top-five performances, but scoring a victory in the process, accomplished in the weekend’s opener on Thursday, June 26.
The victory, technically a Midweek Series program for High Limit Racing, was the sixth of Reutzel’s season and his fourth with the Series, his other two victories accomplished during Knoxville 360 Sprint Car competition and POWRi action, respectively. “A-Aron” led the final 19 circuits to secure the Midweek triumph, surviving a final corner throwdown by Tanner Thorson to maintain control.
As noted, Reutzel and RSR raced on to secure two additional top-fives at Lucas Oil Speedway, finishing fifth on Friday, June 27, and second on Saturday, June 28. Reutzel’s runner-up finish, leading the first 14 circuits, earned the Clute, Texas, native and former All Star Circuit of Champions champion a $10,000 payday, simultaneously taking command of the High Limit Racing championship standings – a nine-point advantage. The team’s victory on Thursday also secured the Midweek Series point lead.

Things are rolling right now and we’re really excited for the midpoint of the year,” Brian Ridge, owner of the Power Plus, Folkens Brothers Trucking, Don Long & STC, B And L Holdings, American Table, Commercial Edge, Rasmusson Service Center, The P.O. Box, Bargain Barn, No. 87 sprint car, explained. “We want to remind everyone of the RSR Shop Party that we’re having on Friday, July 4. Music, food, entertainment…it’s going to be a great evening. We invite everyone to attend and enjoy themselves. A great holiday weekend send off.”
Ridge & Sons Racing will celebrate July 4 with an Open House at their race shop in Knoxville, Iowa. Kicking off at 7 pm, the evening will feature food, music, and the Iowa Beer Bus. No RSVP needed. The shop address is: 1460 West Bell Avenue, Knoxville, Iowa.
