KNOXVILLE, Iowa (August 5, 2024) – Aaron Reutzel and Ridge & Sons Racing (RSR) put together a sound effort in Knoxville Raceway’s 360 Knoxville Nationals (August 1-3) and Capitani Classic (August 4), not only qualifying for each of the respective main events, but racing on to finish 14th in back-to-back fashion – an incredible feat considering 102 entries made the call for the 360 Nationals, and 82 for the annual Capitani Classic.
Reutzel, ace of Brian and Lisa Ridge’s Folkens Brothers Trucking, Don Long & STC, B And L Holdings, American Table, No. 87 sprint car, utilized a solid preliminary effort on Thursday to lock themselves into Saturday’s 360 Knoxville Nationals main event, kicking things off with the fastest qualifying time of the night, followed by an eventual B-Main victory and a charge from 21st to 15th.
A heat race victory in Sunday’s Capitani Classic propelled the Clute, Texas, native to the evening’s headliner.
Aaron Reutzel and Ridge & Sons Racing will continue their busy stretch in the Hawkeye State with another full week of competition, continuing on with Southern Iowa Speedway’s Front Row Challenge on Monday, August 5, followed by the coveted Knoxville Nationals at Knoxville Raceway on Wednesday through Saturday, August 7-10.
