KNOXVILLE, Iowa (September 9, 2024) – In all, a successful three-day campaign at the Port Royal Speedway “Speed Palace” for Aaron Reutzel and Knoxville, Iowa’s own Ridge & Sons Racing, not only concluding the annual Tuscarora 50 featuring High Limit Racing with a top-ten in the 50-lap weekend finale, but ultimately securing a triumph along the way – the 12th of Reutzel’s season and his first since a 360 win in Knoxville Raceway’s season championship on August 24.
Reutzel, ace of Brian and Lisa Ridge’s Folkens Brothers Trucking, Don Long & STC, B And L Holdings, No. 87 sprint car, earned his victory in Friday’s Night Before The Tuscarora 50, cruising ahead from fourth to take command on lap three. The score, padded by a near-three second margin, was Reutzel’s third-ever at Port Royal Speedway and his first since 2019, that’s when the Clute, Texas, native secured a Tuscarora 50 championship with the All Star Circuit of Champions.
As noted, Reutzel raced on to conclude Tuscarora 50 weekend with a top-ten in Saturday’s finale, climbing ahead from 20th to finish tenth, officially.

Tentatively, Ridge & Sons Racing and Aaron Reutzel [No. 87] will continue their 2024 campaign with a High Limit Racing doubleheader at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania, on Friday and Saturday, September 13-14.
