Reutzel highlights recent stretch with podium at Ransomville; High Limit schedule resumes at Grandview and Port Royal Speedway
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
KNOXVILLE, Iowa (May 19, 2025) – It was a chaotic week in the northeast for “A-Aron” Aaron Reutzel and Ridge & Sons Racing (RSR), not only continuing their 2025 High Limit Racing campaign with a pair of starts in Indiana and New York, but ultimately capping the stretch with a pair of Posse starts in Central Pennsylvania – due in part to a weather-induced High Limit cancellation. When the dust finally settled, the former three-time All Star Circuit of Champions champion had three top-tens to his credit, all of which activating with a seventh-place performance at Kokomo Speedway in Kokomo, Indiana, on Monday, May 12.
Reutzel, ace of Brian and Lisa Ridge’s Power Plus, Folkens Brothers Trucking, Don Long & STC, B And L Holdings, American Table, Commercial Edge, Rasmusson Service Center, The P.O. Box, Bargain Barn, No. 87 sprint car, raced on to finish third with High Limit at Ransomville Speedway in Ransomville, New York, on Friday, May 16, actually battling in the runner-up spot before losing the position to Tyler Courtney on the white flag lap.
As noted, Mother Nature, who ruined High Limit’s planned visit to Utica-Rome Speedway in Vernon, New York, on Saturday, May 17, allowed Reutzel the opportunity to turn some laps with the Pennsylvania Posse, concluding the weekend at Port Royal Speedway and BAPS Motor Speedway on Saturday and Sunday, May 17-18. Despite Sunday’s visit to BAPS ending on the hook, Reutzel showed promise at Port Royal and finished ninth – advancing a pair of positions from the inside of row six. The Clute, Texas, native will return to Port Royal for the Bob Weikert Memorial in less than a week.
“We were all over the map this week and weekend, but it all worked out,” Brian Ridge explained. “We have another really busy week ahead, but we’re excited for it. There’s a lot of money on the line at Port Royal, so it was good to get there on Saturday and turn some laps. We’ll do what we can to put it all together and get ourselves to the front for the Bob Weikert Memorial.”
ON DECK:
Ridge & Sons Racing and Aaron Reutzel will continue their 2025 campaign with a busy slate in the Keystone State, set to resume High Limit Racing competition with visits to Grandview Speedway on Tuesday, May 20, and Port Royal Speedway on Friday through Sunday, May 23-25.
