Reutzel rolls through Texas; Kansas and Illinois visits on tap with High Limit Racing
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
KNOXVILLE, Iowa (May 5, 2025) – “Everything is bigger in Texas,” as the old saying goes, and as for Aaron Reutzel and Ridge & Sons Racing (RSR), their results were big, as well, capping Texas Motor Speedway’s two-day Stockyard Stampede with finishes no worse than 11th, highlighting the High Limit Racing doubleheader with a sixth-place performance in Saturday’s weekend finale.
Reutzel, ace of Brian and Lisa Ridge’s Power Plus, Folkens Brothers Trucking, Don Long & STC, B And L Holdings, American Table, Commercial Edge, Rasmusson Service Center, The P.O. Box, Bargain Barn, No. 87 sprint car, started third in Saturday’s non-stop 30-lapper, earning his way into the big dance via heat race triumph. Adding to the weekend stat chart, Reutzel’s performance in Thursday’s preliminary (no action contested on Friday) was just as impressive, kicking things off with the evening’s fastest qualifying time, racing on to rally from 19th to score the aforementioned 11th-place result.
Reutzel was forced to compete in Thursday’s B-Main due to a heat race mechanical issue; he was victorious.
A-Aron is currently fifth in the High Limit Racing title chase trailing championship leader and defending Series champion Brad Sweet by 105 markers.
“Happy for Aaron [Reutzel] and the entire RSR team. They showed a lot of hard work and perseverance this weekend and that’s a necessity in our run for the High Limit title,” Brian Ridge said. “We have an extremely busy next few weeks ahead. They guys will be ready and I’m confident their results will show.”
