BROWNSBURG, Ind. (April 20, 2026) – Rico Abreu and Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing continued their consistent ways during the recent weekend, this time rallying ahead in their Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing appearance at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri, on Saturday, April 18. Rico, the reigning High Limit Racing champion, finished sixth in his visit to the “Diamond of Dirt Tracks,” climbing ahead five spots from the inside of row six.
High Limit Racing was scheduled to compete on two occasions during the recent weekend, but Mother Nature had other plans, ruining all hope for a visit to Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kansas, on Friday, April 17.
With all results considered, Rico, the pilot of Tony Stewart’s Carquest, Curb Records, Sugarbee Apples, Waste Connections, Arc Zone, Martin One Source, Elliott’s Custom Trailers & Carts, No. 24 sprinter, now owns seven top-tens on the season, one of which a victory at Central Arizona Raceway in Casa Grande, Arizona. The High Limit titleholder is currently third in the 2026 championship standings, trailing Series leader and Nevada native Tanner Thorson by 50 markers.
A short turnaround, indeed, Rico and TSR will continue their 2026 Interstate Batteries High Limit Racing campaign with a midweek visit to the Cornhusker State, taking on Eagle Raceway in Eagle, Nebraska, on Tuesday, April 21. If all goes according to plan, the team will likely join the Outlaws in their two-day invasion of Knoxville Raceway on April 24-25.
