Rod George has been racing sprint cars for 30 years – Rick Rarer Photo

Dog Hollow Speedway in Strongstown, Pennsylvania- a facility primarily associated with late model racing – hosted the 410 sprint car class for the first time in their young history. Although the facility is only in it’s teens as far as age is concerned, it was a veteran who came out on top- taking the lead from Clinton County recent winner, Bob Howard, and never looking back. Rod George, a Kittanning, Pennsylvania resident and Fully Injected member, picked up his 2nd win in just as many nights; capturing the 30 lapper worth $2500 at Dog Hollow Speedway. There were 18 cars in attendance for the first annual event. The facility plans on having the 410’s back next season for a similar program.

Kevin finished 2nd in his heat race behind Danny Holtgraver, and would continue on to finish 3rd in the evenings feature event; just behind Bob Howard and race winner, Rod George. Kevin, a multiple time Lernerville Speedway Track Champion, will be featured in the next episode of Fully Injected’s “Out-of-Car Experience” which was filmed tonight at the Dog Hollow Speedway during his respective heat race. Fully Injected’s Danny Holtgraver also competed this evening in his familiar family owned D4. Danny would win his respective heat race and earn a top 10 finish- crossing the line in 7th position.
