Kittanning, Pennsylvania’s Rod George is now the pilot of the Kelsey George Racing/Dr. John Crawford, III Family Practice ‘CIII’ sprint car for the 2012 season! The team came together during the recent winter months -with most of the equipment coming from the former Kelsey George Racing stable; which was recently piloted by Andy Priest.
“Dad was wanting to retire but I didn’t want to see that happen” explained Kelsey George who is Rod’s daughter, “So I decided to team up with dad’s former sponsors and put this deal together. ‘Doc’ (John Crawford, III) has been helping dad for a long time so I decided to go back to the ‘CIII’ look to show our appreciation for all that he has done…not to mention lots of help from others like Suzanne Stivason and Stan Riggle…we are really excited!”
The team will make its first appearance of the 2012 season this evening at Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania.
