Round 7 & 8 of F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship This Weekend!
Byron Reed Ahead by 22 Heading into June 5th Program

Fremont, OH (June 3rd, 2015) – The Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘410’ Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service will resume competition this Friday and Saturday with rounds 7 & 8 of the 2015 schedule. The F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series will make routine visits to the Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway over the course of the upcoming weekend with defending series champion Byron Reed leading the charge. Reed, a one-time feature winner during F.A.S.T. competition in 2015, sits on top of the current standings with 855 points heading into the Friday, June 5th program at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio. The series will visit the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio on Saturday, June 6th.
“Reed is consistent…you can never count out Byron Reed” said F.A.S.T. series promoter Rich Farmer, “His ability to stay consistent and finish near the front every night keeps him in the championship hunt every single year…Cap Henry is another driver on a hot streak lately…Henry had a great weekend with us last time we raced…he was the first person to sweep a F.A.S.T. weekend this season…it has been a great year so far…the level of competition in our area is at the top…we are excited to see how the rest of the season unfolds.”
Cap Henry, driver of the familiar Genzman Racing ‘53,’ will enter the weekend second in the current F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series standings. Henry, who conquered F.A.S.T. action back on May 15th & 16th with a weekend sweep, has amassed two total F.A.S.T. wins and 833 points thus far this season. Craig Mintz, a former F.A.S.T. champion, will enter the weekend third in the current standings with 807 points; followed by Dean Jacobs with 775 points and Stuart Brubaker with 764 points.
Along with Cap Henry, Dean Jacobs is also a two-time winner with the Kistler Racing Products F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series in 2015. The pilot of the Diane Seeling no. 97 earned both of his F.A.S.T. victories at the Attica Raceway Park; kicking-off the season with the opening night win on April 17th, followed by another Attica victory lane appearance on Friday, May 1st. Byron Reed and Chris Andrews each have one victory during F.A.S.T. action in 2015.
“We have a few repeat winners so far but I see us having a few more new faces in victory lane this season” said Rich Farmer, “We have some talented younger guys with us every week…they are the future of our sport and it’s fun to watch them gain more experience and become more and more competitive…this series wouldn’t be possible without the help from our long list of dedicated sponsors…we are thrilled to have their support and hopefully we can keep that relationship going.”
The JLH General Contractors Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘305’ Championship Series presented by Engine Pro will not return to competition until Friday and Saturday, June 12th & 13th.
There are currently 18 dates on the F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series schedule in 2015; stretching from mid-April until early August. The F.A.S.T. ‘305’ sprinters will headline 11 events in 2015, with an inaugural visit to the Waynesfield Raceway Park scheduled for Saturday, July 4th. The 2015 F.A.S.T. ‘410’ title will once again be worth $10,000 to the series champion. $2,000 will be awarded to the 2015 F.A.S.T. ‘305’ series champion.
