Routine Weekend Ahead for “Jonestown Jet”
Zearfoss Records Top-Ten Finish at Port Royal

Jonestown, PA (August 25, 2015) – Brock Zearfoss will prepare for a routine weekend in the “Keystone State” this Friday and Saturday with planned reappearances at the Williams Grove Speedway and Port Royal Speedway. The “Jonestown Jet” has been an active competitor at both Pennsylvania half-mile ovals and will continue to log laps in preparation for larger events later in the season. Zearfoss will visit Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, August 28, and Port Royal Speedway on Saturday, August 29.
Brock Zearfoss will enter the upcoming weekend with one top-ten finish to his recent credit. After his Williams Grove Speedway visit for “Twin 20’s” action on Friday, August 21, was cut short due to mechanical failure, the Jonestown, Pennsylvania native would persevere and register a tenth place performance at Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal on Saturday, August 22.
“It was an ‘OK’ weekend for our team” explained Brock Zearfoss, “Friday, we were plagued with some issues with the car. We had a bad vibration and eventual driveline issues during the first feature…that kept us parked the rest of the night. On Saturday, things went a little better for us. The car was good all night…started tenth during the main and kept it there. We’ve had a lot of great finishes this season. We’ll work to use what we’ve learned and try to get our car up front during the bigger shows coming up.”
Zearfoss and the Brock Zearfoss Racing, Moose’s LZ Bar and Grill, Central Builders Supply, Leach’s Automotive Service, Meckley’s Limestone, #3Z team have a lot to prepare for during the remaining months of the 2015 season. The remaining schedule includes a full Labor Day weekend agenda, Tuscarora 50, Dirt Classic, and the historic National Open at Williams Grove Speedway.
