Pittsburgh, PA (April 11th, 2015) –  The 2015 season will continue for Danny Holtgraver and Phoenix Racing later this evening, April 11th at the Atomic Speedway near Chillicothe, Ohio. The ‘Miller/Coors Rumble in the Hills’ featuring the OVSCA ‘410’ sprint cars will be the featured attraction at the Atomic bullring; highlighted with a $4,000-to-win main event. Holtgraver, who pilots the Phoenix Racing, Auto Electric of Jupiter, Florida, Southern Pacific Farms, Bonnell’s Rod Shop, DKW Transport, no. 59 ‘410’ sprinter, will join the OVSCA on Saturday night in search of a career-first Atomic Speedway feature win.

“The plan right now is to head over to Atomic Speedway…the weather hasn’t been too favorable the last few days but im sure we’ll get it in tonight” said Holtgraver, “We weren’t really sure what to do this weekend…we were either going to head over to Atomic or Fremont…either way, we are ready to race…we’ll race as much as we can even if the All Stars are off…we had a pretty good finish last Saturday at Attica so that helps with our momentum a little bit…Bonzai Bruns is a great crew chief and works hard…him and I have become pretty comfortable around each other…I can’t thank Tom and Sherry Leidig enough for this opportunity…still looking for that first win together but we will work to make that happen this weekend.”

Danny Holtgraver and Phoenix Racing recently earned their fourth top-ten performance of the 2015 season with the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions; finishing seventh during the HD Supply ‘Spring Nationals’ at the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio on Saturday, April 4th. Holtgraver, a former UNOH All Star winner at the Attica bullring, started the 40-lap, $5,000-to-win HD Supply ‘Spring Nationals’ main event from the outside of row number six, and would rally five positions to secure his top-ten finish. There were 42 ‘410’ sprint cars entered for action at Attica on April 4th. Ryan Smith, a fellow Pennsylvania native, earned the $5,000 All Star payday.

Holtgraver and Phoenix Racing will rejoin the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions next Saturday and Sunday, April 18th & 19th at the Wayne County (OH) Speedway and Bedford (PA) Speedway.
