Ringgold, PA (June 17th, 2013) – Western Pennsylvania crate late model ‘hotshot’ Joe Martin will have an opportunity to pocket $6,000 in race winnings this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; as the Sweeney RUSH Dirt Late Model Touring Series is set to host three consecutive $2,000-to-win events this weekend in Pennsylvania and Maryland. Martin, who pilots the Joe Martin Motorsports (JM2 Motorsports), Allegheny Crane Rental, The George Washington Hotel, Spartan Thru Tubing, Extreme Plastics Plus, Neese Trucking, RMS Incorporated, no. 55 crate late model, will be in action for all three (3) Sweeney RUSH Touring Series’ ‘Mid-Atlantic Triple Crown’ Presented by Raineater Wiper Blades programs this coming weekend; beginning this Friday evening, June 21st at the Hagerstown Speedway in Hagerstown, Maryland. The JM2 Motorsports ‘55’ team will enter the ‘Mid-Atlantic Triple Crown’ weekend as one of the most consistent crate late model teams in the region; and they look forward to continuing that tradition this Friday through Sunday.
The ‘Mid-Atlantic Triple Crown’ Presented by Raineater Wiper Blades weekend for the Sweeney RUSH Dirt Late Model Touring Series will begin this Friday evening, June 21st at the Hagerstown Speedway in Hagerstown, Maryland. Joe Martin has visited the big half-mile in northern Maryland one time already in 2013; recording a fifth place finish during Sweeney RUSH Dirt Late Model Touring Series competition. The Hagerstown Speedway program will be highlighted with a $2,000-to-win main event for the crate powered Sweeney RUSH late models. Joe Martin looks forward to returning to the Hagerstown Speedway; and hopes to jumpstart his upcoming weekend in the Mid-Atlantic by improving his latest Hagerstown finish.
From Hagerstown, the Sweeney RUSH Touring Series ‘Mid-Atlantic Triple Crown’ schedule will move on to the Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex in Markelysburg, Pennsylvania for a one-day event on Saturday, June 22nd. The evening will once again feature a $2,000-to-win program for the Sweeney RUSH Dirt Late Model Touring Series. Joe Martin is a former winner at the Markleysburg oval; capturing the $2,000 ‘Big Kahuna’ in late 2012.
The ‘Mid-Atlantic Triple Crown’ Presented by Raineater Wiper Blades will come to close this Sunday evening, June 23rd with an appearance at ‘The Rock’ – Allegany County Speedway in Cumberland, Maryland. This will be the third and final $2,000-to-win program for the crate powered Sweeney RUSH Touring Series late models this weekend. Like the Hagerstown Speedway, the JM2 Motorsports ‘55’ team has one appearance at ‘The Rock’ in 2013; resulting in a fourth (4th) place finish during Sweeney RUSH ‘Weekly Series’ competition on Sunday, April 21st. This Sunday’s program will act as Joe Martin’s second-career start at the big half-mile in northern Maryland.
