GRIMES, Iowa (August 1, 2022) – It has been an impressive season, to say the least, for Grimes, Iowa’s Ryan Giles and Ryan Giles Racing, and with the biggest 360 sprint car event of the season just days away, it is the perfect time of year to be on a hot streak. Ultimately, the goal is to transfer all momentum earned into a 360 Knoxville Nationals championship.
Giles, ace of the Albaugh LLC., Iowa Barnstormers, Hicklin Powersports, Barron Equipment, Omega Concrete Mixers, No. 9 sprint car, finished fourth in his most recent visit to the Sprint Car Capital of the World, pushing his top-ten streak to five consecutive since returning to his family-owned ride. The former Knoxville Raceway 360 Rookie of the Year kicked-off the program with the fastest overall qualifying time, winning his respective heat race from fourth shortly thereafter. Giles battled as high as second before settling into the fourth position.
There were over 40 cars entered for what was the final 360 Knoxville Nationals test session of the season.
“What a night for this team. We have one goal in mind, and I think everyone knows what that is,” Giles explained, a former 360 Knoxville Nationals preliminary night winner. “All we can do is keep doing what we’ve been doing and the results will come. The 360 Nationals is our Super Bowl…everyone will be on their A-game and it’s up to us to rely on the last few weeks to get us into a position to win.
“Hats off to everyone involved,” Giles added. “We put this deal together in a hurry and we’ve been quick ever since. I owe it all to those in the pits, as well as those named on the car.”

Ryan Giles and Ryan Giles Racing (360 Sprint Car) will continue their 2022 campaign with the annual 360 Knoxville Nationals at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, on Thursday through Saturday, August 4-6. Giles is set to qualify on Thursday.
