Maytown, PA (July 29th, 2014) – One of central Pennsylvania’s ‘newest’ marquee events is just a few days away, and Maytown’s Ryan Wilson is set to take part in it. Wilson, who pilots the Pork – Be Inspired, Dent Tech, Delco Designs, Thru It All Body Shop, Obers Firewood, Subway of Manchester, no. 29 ‘410’ sprint car regularly in central Pennsylvania, will travel to the Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania this Saturday, August 2nd; ready to do battle at the 8th Annual Living Legends Dream Race. The 8th edition of the Living Legends Dream Race will feature not only a unique format, but also a healthy purse; awarding over $50,000 in prize money throughout the event. An event at this level would be an ideal location to earn a career-first ‘410’ feature victory.
Before heading to Port Royal Speedway, Ryan Wilson and the entire ‘29’ gang will make a visit to the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania on Friday night, August 1st. A ‘regular’ program is in store at ‘The Grove’ on Friday; complete with preliminary heat races, consolation and main event. The ‘410s’ will be joined by the URC ‘360s’ on August 1st. After his Friday night venture to the Williams Grove Speedway, Ryan Wilson will switch his focus and travel north to the Port Royal Speedway for the Living Legends Dream Race. The Saturday, August 2nd program will feature two (2) 16-lap/ $2,000-to-win semi-features, and a 35-lap/$10,000-to-win main event. A large list of contingency cash and contingency awards are also up for grabs during the Living Legends Dream Race program; making the entire evening worth over $55,000 in purse money, and over $13,000 in contingency awards. Ryan Wilson, who is still searching for a career-first ‘410’ sprint car main event victory, will visit the Juniata County Fairgrounds venue with one goal in mind; victory. During recent sprint car competition, Ryan Wilson earned a top-five finish at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. Wilson finished fourth (4th) officially during feature action on Saturday, July 26th at the Pigeon Hills venue; following Danny Dietrich, Alan Krimes and Brian Montieth at the checkers. The pilot of the Pork-Be Inspired ‘29’ led from lap 8 until lap 18 before surrendering the top spot.
