Sanders and RSR set to take on Knoxville Nationals

By Fully Injected Motorsports:

KNOXVILLE, Iowa (August 5, 2025) – The time has come for the “Granddaddy of Them All,” and for Knoxville’s own Ridge & Sons Racing (RSR), paired with Prunedale, California’s Justin Sanders, it’s all or nothing.

RSR, backed by Power Plus, Folkens Brothers Trucking, Don Long & STC, B And L Holdings, American Table, Commercial Edge, Rasmusson Service Center, The P.O. Box, and Bargain Barn, will roll into Knoxville Raceway’s coveted Knoxville Nationals week with a full head of steam, recording solid finishes in the annual 360 Knoxville Nationals, as well as the Capitani Classic. Although thrown into the mix relatively late, substituting for the injured Aaron Reutzel, Justin Sanders qualified for each of the main events contested, highlighting all recent starts with a top-ten (ninth) during 360 Knoxville Nationals preliminary competition. The Californian raced on to finish 11th in the 360 Nationals finale and 16th in Sunday’s Capitani Classic – an unofficial preliminary to the Knoxville Nationals.

“We’re excited about where we are as a team, and we’re confident in our ability going forward,” Brian Ridge, owner of RSR, stated. “Justin [Sanders] has done a great job adapting, and with Aaron’s [Reutzel] input, things will only improve. It all starts Wednesday. Our goal is to put ourselves in a great position and hopefully lock into Saturday’s A-Main.”

RSR and Justin Sanders will attempt to “lock in” on Wednesday, August 6. Should the team earn enough points through preliminary action, an automatic Knoxville Nationals A-Main starting position could be attained.

“We’re going to take things one lap at a time,” Ridge continued. “That’s all we can do…every lap counts.”
