The All-Star Circuit of Champions visited Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania last night with a large number of Fully Injected competitors signed in. 31 cars were signed in for the $5,000 to win, Ohio Region event. The Steel City Outlaw, Tim Shaffer, was the evening’s Dash winner and Feature winner; taking the lead on lap 17 and never looking back. Connecticut’s, David Gravel, earned the fastest lap during qualifying time trials at the 3/8’s mile bullring, as well as finished 2nd in the 30 lap feature event. Daryn Pittman, Fully Injected’s, Danny Holtgraver, and Dale Blaney, would round out the top five.
Bryan Sebetto picked up the FAST Series win last night over Sam Hafertepe Jr., and Byron Reed at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, OH. Sebetto now leads the FAST Series points chase by 15 markers over Dean Jacobs.
Cody Darrah picked up his second World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series victory last night at Castrol Raceway in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The Red Lion, Pennsylvania native is a full time pilot for Kasey Kahne Racing in the Great Clips no. 91. 28 cars were signed in for the World of Outlaws event.
Pennsylvania’s Port Royal Speedway and Lincoln Speedway were both cancelled last evening due to incoming wet conditions related to Hurricane Irene.
