Donny Schatz and Jimmy Owens each grabbed $10,000 victories last night at The Dirt Track at Charlotte ‘World Finals’ finale.
Donny Schatz won his second consecutive feature of the weekend last night at The Dirt Track; sweeping the World Finals weekend with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series. Steve Kinser, Craig Dollansky, Cody Darrah, and Greg Hodnett, rounded out the top five in last night’s 30 lap, sprint car main event. Schatz would finish the 2011 season second in the final point standings to Jason Meyers.

Jimmy Owens held off fellow Bloomquist Chassis pilot, Scott Bloomquist, for the $10,000, World of Outlaws Late Model Series victory last night at The Dirt Track at Charlotte ‘World Finals’ finale. The 2011 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Champion took the lead from Friday night winner, Jonathon Davenport, and never looked back; dominating the 50 lap event. Owens was victorious last year at the World Finals, as well.
