Schatz highlights Huset’s trip with top-ten in $100K Hustle finale; Cedar Lake doubleheader begins Friday

BROWNSBURG, Ind. (June 23, 2025) – Ten-time World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series champion Donny Schatz did his best to conquer Huset’s Speedway’s four-day Huset’s Hustle and High Banks Nationals on June 18-21, and although the Fargo, North Dakota, native was short of the ultimate goal, four A-Main starting spots were achieved, highlighting all action with a top-ten in Thursday’s $100,000-to-win Huset’s Hustle finale.
Schatz, ace of Tony Stewart’s Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing, Carquest, Advance Auto Parts, Curb Records, Martin One Source, No. 15 sprint car, finished eighth in his top-ten appearance, maintaining his place within the top-ten after starting one position better. The evening’s result was padded by a runner-up performance during heat race competition; there were 55 cars entered for action.
Nearly doubling up in the top-ten column, Schatz raced on to finish 14th in the $250,000-to-win Highbank Nationals finale on Saturday, June 21, this time the result of forward progress from 23rd on the grid.
Although action in the Mount Rushmore State is complete, June’s slate is far from over, as the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series will once again turn east to invade the Badger State, taking on Cedar Lake Speedway for the Independence Spectacular on June 27 and 28.
