BROWNSBURG, Ind. (June 30, 2025) – Forward progress was the theme in Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing’s (TSR) two-race weekend at Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisconsin, climbing ten total positions in the facility’s Independence Spectacular, highlighting all results with a top-ten in the weekend finale on Saturday, June 28. The eventual top-ten was the team’s 22nd of the 2025 season, accomplished in 38 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series starts.
Donny Schatz, ace of Tony Stewart’s Carquest, Advance Auto Parts, Curb Records, Martin One Source, No. 15 sprint car, finished sixth in his top-ten outcome, climbing six positions from 12th to do so. Adding to the evening’s stat chart, the Fargo, North Dakota, native and ten-time World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series champion finished fourth in his respective heat race, advancing from one position back. Incidentally, just one night prior in the Spectacular opener, Schatz finished 12th from 16th, essentially picking up right where he left off the following night.
Although Independence Day Weekend will be an off-weekend for Donny Schatz and TSR, the team out of Brownsburg, Indiana, is already looking ahead, set to rejoin the Greatest Show On Dirt for a three-race stint through Minnesota and Wiconsin on July 10-12. Donny Schatz will roll into the Land of 10,000 Lakes sixth in the WoO championship standings, earning the aforementioned 22 top-tens in 38 main events, six of which occurring within the top-five. The team is still hunting for their first win of 2025.
ON DECK:
Donny Schatz and Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing will continue their 2025 World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series campaign with an off weekend, followed by a Minnesota and Wisconsin tripleheader on Thursday through Saturday, July 10-12. The team will visit Deer Creek Speedway in Spring Valley, Minnesota (Thursday) and Wilmot Raceway in Wilmot, Wisconsin (Friday and Saturday).
