BROWNSBURG, Ind. (March 4, 2025) – A return trip to the Sunshine State ended in success for Donny Schatz and Tony Stewart/Curb-Agajanian Racing, concluding Volusia Speedway Park’s Bike Week Jamboree with a top-ten result in the two-day finale on Monday, March 3. The ten-time World of Outlaws champion was forced to do things the hard way, climbing from 15th on the grid to finish eighth – his fourth World of Outlaws top-ten of the season all of which accomplished at Volusia’s “World’s Fastest Half-Mile.”
Schatz, ace of the Carquest, Advance Auto Parts, Ford Performance, Curb Records, Martin One Source, No. 15 sprint car, earned his way into the Bike Week Jamboree finale via fourth-place score in his respective heat race, launching action with the 15th-fastest qualifying time.
As hinted, Schatz’ outcome on Monday highlighted his two-day Volusia visit, commencing action with a 12th-place score on Sunday. With all results considered, the Fargo, North Dakota, native is now fourth in the World of Outlaws championship standings and is trailing defending Series champion, David Gravel, by 82 markers. Schatz will attempt to make up championship ground in his upcoming trip to Eastaboga, Alabama, and Columbus, Mississippi, on Friday and Saturday, March 7-8.
