Schedule Update: Colton Flinner Will Pilot 3/4 Scale Late Model at ‘PPMS’
No Crate Late Model Action for the Flinner ‘75’

Allison Park, PA (May 17th, 2013) – Western Pennsylvania FASTRAK crate late model hotshoe, Colton Flinner, will spend this Saturday night, May 18th, competing in a dirt track division that is rather unfamiliar to him. The Allison Park, Pennsylvania native will keep his familiar American Framers, VOX Energy, A.W. Beattie Career Center, Bellisarios Lounge, no. 75 crate late model at home this weekend, and instead, take advantage of an opportunity to pilot a ¾ scale late model that is owned and maintained by Stewart Mainert. With Colton Flinner having no FASTRAK commitments this Friday or Saturday, the former FASTRAK ‘weekly’ division winner will pilot the ¾ scale late model at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway in Imperial, Pennsylvania for the first appearance, ever, by this division. It is currently the only race scheduled for Colton Flinner this weekend.
“It is pretty exciting to get this opportunity” said Colton Flinner about driving a ¾ scale late model at ‘PPMS,’ “We had some crate late model races lined up for this weekend, but we decided to keep our stuff at home and take a weekend to regroup and refocus…getting an opportunity to pilot this car couldn’t have came at a better time…I can’t thank Stewart Mainert enough for this opportunity…hopefully we can park this car in victory lane!”
Colton Flinner is a recent crate late model winner at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway; with a victory occuring during RUSH Pro Late Model ‘weekly’ competition. Flinner is also the two-time and defending crate late model track champion at Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway. This Saturday’s program at ‘PPMS’ will feature a regularly scheduled ‘Action Event;’ which features all of the facility’s weekly divisions, as well as the ¾ scale late models.
