North Jackson, OH (April 24th, 2013) – Unfortunately, Jack Sodeman Jr.’s original plans to venture east this weekend with the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions may not take shape. The North Jackson, Ohio native fell into some issues with not only the UNOH All Star schedule, but also UNOH All Star management. In recent weeks, UNOH All Star officials have failed to meet with some of Jack Sodeman Jr.’s terms and agreements, forcing the Rudzik Racing no. 94 ‘410’ team to drop off of the tour until further notice. Instead, Jeff and Bonnie Rudzik’s Rudzik Excavating/Economy Tooling no. 94 ‘410’ sprint car team, piloted by Jack Sodeman Jr., will participate in events in Western Pennsylvania. The ‘94’ operation will take part in ‘Opening Night’ events at both Lernerville Speedway (PA) and Mercer Raceway Park (PA) this Friday and Saturday, April 26th & 27th.

“We had some problems getting in touch with people in charge of the All Stars” said Jack Sodeman Jr., “We want to run the ‘Ohio Region’ and ‘Eastern Region’ stuff, but things aren’t really working out as of right now…hopefully we can come to terms and get back on the road with those guys…the season is young; we’ll see what happens.”

Jack Sodeman Jr. and the Rudzik Racing ‘94’ team will be making their first stop this weekend at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania on Friday evening, April 26th. The track will be hosting their first ‘weekly’ Fab Four program of the year this Friday night; featuring all four of their weekly divisions including the ‘410’ sprint cars. Sodeman Jr. is a former winner at the Sarver, PA 4/10’s mile oval, and hopes to make a return to ‘Sheetz Victory Lane’ this Friday night. The Rudzik Racing ‘94’ sprinter finished inside the top five back on April 14th at the Lernerville Speedway; finishing fourth (4th), officially, during the speedway’s ‘Steel City Stampede’ make-up event. That was the only event contested at the speedway so far in 2013.

On Saturday evening, April 27th, Jack Sodeman Jr. has intentions to visit the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania for their ‘Saturday Night Live!’ ‘weekly’ opener. The Mercer, PA 3/8’s mile dirt oval will host all of their ‘weekly’ divisions on Saturday for a full night of points action; including the winged ‘410’ sprinters. Sodeman Jr., like Lernerville Speedway, is a former winner at ‘MRP.’ A talented field of Western Pennsylvania regulars is expected to be on hand Saturday evening at Mercer Raceway Park; giving Rudzik Racing and Jack Sodeman Jr. a true challenge even when not on the road. If terms with the UNOH All Stars can be met by Saturday morning, the Rudzik Racing ‘94’ team will make the trip to Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pennsylvania for the ‘Weikert Memorial’ sanctioned by the UNOH All Stars. If that is not the case, Mercer Raceway Park will be their destination.

“Lernerville and Mercer will most likely be our plan of attack this weekend” said Sodeman Jr., “If we can’t head east, then we’ll race close to home…they are great facilities and they offer great racing surfaces each and every weekend…we have had success at both in the past, so hopefully that continues this weekend…I can’t thank Jeff and Bonnie Rudzik enough for the opportunity this season…they are great people and great owners…hopefully I can return the favor and find victory lane this weekend.”

For more information on the ‘Fab Four’ event this Friday night at the Lernerville Speedway, take the time to visit the track online at www.lernerville.com. Mercer Raceway Park also has detailed information, such as ticket prices, gate times and an updated schedule, online at their official track website: www.mercerracewaypark.com.

Jack Sodeman Jr.’s recent results include a fourteenth (14th) place finish at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio during Fremont/Attica Sprint Title competition last Saturday evening, April 20th. The former Sharon Speedway Track Champion continues to display consistency against some of the toughest groups of ‘410’ competition in the country.
