MITCHELLVILLE, Iowa (September 9, 2024) – It was a tough weekend at the “Speed Palace” for Hunter Schuerenberg and TKS Motorsports, and despite the hardships, ultimately missing Saturday’s 50-lap, $57,000-to-win Tuscarora 50 starting lineup, the growth and comfort-seeking continues, working to alter their Pennsylvania perception in an upcoming Lernerville Speedway doubleheader on Friday and Saturday, September 13-14.
“Those weekends are going to happen. Our Port Royal experience as a team is obviously pretty limited, and with any new driver and team combination, you’re going to have some struggles. We’ll shake that off and move forward,” Troy Renfro, owner of the Iowa Barnstormers, Des Moines Industrial Products, Jersey Freeze Ice Cream, No. 2KS sprint car, said. “Hats off to Hunter for his hard work this weekend. We have another big two days at Lernerville so we’re excited to give things another go.”
Although missing Saturday’s Tuscarora 50 finale, Sikeston, Missouri’s “Hunter Percent” and TKS Motorsports put themselves in the big dance on Friday, qualifying before finishing 20th in the Night Before The Tuscarora 50.

TKS Motorsports and Hunter Schuerenberg will continue their 2024 campaign with a High Limit Racing doubleheader at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania, on Friday and Saturday, September 13-14.
