Priester in action at Mercer Raceway Park – Rick Rarer Photo

Rimersburg, PA – 7/12/12} Rimersburg, Pennsylvania native and Team Fully Injected ‘410’ sprint car pilot, Scott Priester, sits within 38 points of the Mercer Raceway Park ‘410’ sprint car point lead. The Western Pennsylvania sprint car veteran has been in the track championship hunt all season long at the Mercer 3/8’s mile oval; keeping the Martha Dionise owned no. 15 sprint car consistently towards the front. Priester sits second in the current Mercer Raceway Park ‘410’ sprint car point standings, with Eric ‘Turkey’ Williams holding down the top spot. Mike Lutz, Rod George, and Jack Sodeman Jr. round out the top five.

With no ‘410’ sprint car action at Mercer Raceway Park this Saturday evening, July 14th, Priester and the entire Dionise Racing operation will have an opportunity to regroup, and prepare, for the next point race in two weeks. The FASTRAK Northeast Touring Series crate late models will be the main attraction at the Mercer oval this Saturday night; moving the regularly featured ‘410’ sprint cars off of the Saturday night schedule.

Priester will not sit idle during the entire upcoming weekend, as he will be driving his own Sarver Landscaping/Kaptured by Kirstie sponsored no. 11 ‘410’ sprint car tomorrow evening – Friday, July 13th – at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania. Priester has been a near regular competitor at the Sarver oval in 2012, and currently sits 15th in the track’s ‘410’ sprint car standings. The former Challenger Raceway track champion is still winless in 2012, but plans to make changes to that statistic this weekend!
