Rimersburg, PA (May 20th, 2013) – After kicking off the recent weekend with a not-so-pleasant twelfth (12th) place finish at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania on Friday, May 17th; Rimersburg, Pennsylvania native Scott Priester would turn things around completely and score his first ‘410’ sprint car victory of the 2013 season at the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania. Priester, who was the Mercer Raceway Park ‘410’ sprint car runner-up in last season’s final track standings, earned the Saturday night, May 18th victory while behind the wheel of the Martha Dionise owned, Dionise Racing no. 15 ‘410’ sprint car. The ‘Saturday Night Live!’ event victory was Scott Priester’s first while behind the wheel of the Martha Dionise owned ‘410’ sprinter. The triumph also allowed the Priester/Dionise duo to take over the current Mercer Raceway Park ‘410’ sprint car point lead. The 25-lap, ‘410’ sprint car victory came over Eric Williams, Brandon Matus, Adam Kekich, and Rod George. Priester has been the assigned driver for Martha Dionise for the past few seasons, and competes at the Mercer Raceway Park each and every Saturday evening. The Dionise Racing ’15’ team will continue their 2013 Mercer Raceway Park track championship chase on Saturday, June 1st; when ‘Saturday Night Live!’ weekly action returns to the 3/8’s mile bullring.

“We were definitely due for a win!” said Scott Priester, “This team works really hard and I can’t thank Martha Dionise enough for this opportunity to drive her car…hopefully we can snag a few more wins for her before the year is up; and maybe even a track championship!”

Scott Priester will be back in action this Memorial Day weekend on Friday and Saturday, May 24th & 25th. The former Challenger Raceway Track Champion will pilot his own Priester Racing no. 11 ‘410’ sprint car at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania this Friday evening, May 24th. The Friday night ‘Fab Four’ program will feature all four (4) of the track’s weekly divisions. Scott Priester’s upcoming weekend will then possibly continue on Saturday evening, May 25th, with an appearance at the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania. The Buckeye Outlaw Sprint Series (B.O.S.S.) non-wing ‘410’ sprint cars will be making their first and only appearance of the 2013 season at the Mercer 3/8’s mile oval this Saturday; bringing with them a top-notch roster of non-wing talent. Scott Priester, who has a few non-wing starts to his credit, plans to remove the top wing from his Priester Racing no. 11 this Saturday night, and join the B.O.S.S. regulars for the, at-minimum, $1,400-to-win event. The plan is still in the making, but if all goes according to plan, Priester will be in action on Saturday evening.
