Scott Priester Looks Forward to a ‘Western Pennsylvania Weekend’
Lernerville Speedway and Mercer Raceway Park Next for Priester Racing/Dionise Racing

Rimersburg, PA (July 22nd, 2013) – Scott Priester will return to action at his normal ‘stomping grounds’ this weekend as points racing continues in western Pennsylvania. Priester, who will double-duty again this weekend like so many other weekends thus far in 2013, will be in action this Friday and Saturday, July 26th and 27th at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania; as well as at the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania. The Rimersburg, Pennsylvania native will kick-off the weekend piloting his own Priester Racing no. 11 this Friday night at the Lernerville Speedway. The former Lernerville Speedway winner will then take command of the Martha Dionise Racing no. 15 ‘410’ sprint car this Saturday evening at the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania. Priester has been the hired driver for Martha Dionise for the past few seasons; resulting in not only continuous consistency, but also a victory. Both western Pennsylvania programs will feature a ‘weekly’ racing format; with the standard purse monies and track points being awarded.
Scott Priester will kick-off his upcoming weekend this Friday evening, July 26th at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania. Priester, who welcomes MetPlas to his racing family as a new sponsor and supporter of the Preister Racing no. 11, will pilot his familiar ‘black’n gold’ no. 11 machine this Friday night at the Sarver 4/10’s mile oval. The former Challenger Raceway sprint car track champion will enter the Lernerville Speedway gates sixth (6th) in the current sprint car driver standings; trailing point leader and fellow western Pennsylvania native, Brandon Spithaler, by fifty-three (53) markers. The July 26th program at the Lernerville Speedway will feature a ‘Fab Four’ racing format; which will also accumulate points towards the overall track championship. Priester is winless at the Lernerville Speedway oval in 2013, but has earned multiple top-ten finishes. A win this weekend would do nothing but secure Priester’s spot in the 2013 Lernerville Speedway track championship chase.
After his Lernerville Speedway appearance, action will continue this weekend for Scott Priester at the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania on Saturday evening, July 27th. Priester will pilot the familiar Dionise Racing no. 15 ‘410’ sprinter on Saturday evening at the Mercer 3/8’s mile oval. A ‘Saturday Night Live!’ program will be in store on July 27th; featuring all of the facility’s weekly racing divisions including the ‘410’ sprint cars. Priester, who owns one (1) victory at the Mercer oval with Dionise Racing in 2013, currently finds himself third (3rd) in the Mercer Raceway Park ‘410’ driver standings; trailing defending track champion, Eric Williams, by fifty-three (53) points. The Dionise Racing/Priester duo finished second (2nd) in the 2012 Mercer Raceway Park ‘410’ sprint car standings.
