Scott Priester Ready For “Top Dog Open Wheel Bonanza” At Dog Hollow Speedway!
Rimersburg, PA – 8/16/12 – Rimersburg, Pennsylvania native and ‘410’ sprint car veteran Scott Priester will make an appearance this Sunday evening, August 19th, at Dog Hollow Speedway in Strongstown, Pennsylvania for the ‘Top Gun Open Wheel Bonanza’ featuring the ‘410’ sprint cars. Dog Hollow Speedway, which hosts super late model and crate late model competition on a regular Friday night basis, will host the ‘410’ sprinters for the second time in 2012 this Sunday evening, with Team Fully Injected’s Scott Priester looking to steal the show. The 30 lap, $3,000-to-win/$300-to-start main event for the sprint cars will highlight the evening program at Dog Hollow Speedway. Priester was unable to make an appearance at the previous Dog Hollow ‘410’ event, but plans to pilot the Martha Dionise owned no. 15 this Sunday night and grab the $3,000 top prize. Also on the Sunday evening card will be the Racesaver ‘305’ sprint cars, BRP Modified Tour, and PA Vintage Dirt Modifieds.
Priester’s 2012 season has been a successful one, thus far, as he looks to continue that trend this weekend. The former Challenger Raceway sprint car track champion currently sits second in the ‘410’ sprint car standings at Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania; as well as holds down the 12th position in the ‘410’ sprint car track standings at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania. Priester, who pilots the Martha Dionise owned no. 15 sprint car at Mercer Raceway Park on a regular Saturday night basis, has been more than consistent at the Mercer oval in 2012; finishing inside the top five on almost a weekly basis. Martha Dionise’s ’15’ only trails Eric Williams by 28 markers entering Mercer Raceway Park’s last point race of the season.
Dog Hollow Speedway’s ‘Top Dog Open Wheel Bonanza’ gates will open at 4:00PM on Sunday, August 19th – with racing slated to begin at 7:30PM sharp!
