By Fully Injected Motorsports:
SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (May 30, 2023) – A four-race All Star weekend with the Pennsylvania Posse can be a headache for any competitor, and although the New Jersey and Pennsylvania swing proved challenging for “Big Wheel” Scotty Thiel and Premier Motorsports, highlighting the four-day, four-race slate with an A-Main starting position in Port Royal Speedway’s coveted Bob Weikert Memorial on Sunday, May 28, Thiel and car owner Pete Grove have something more important ahead, setting compasses back to the “Badger State” for events at Dodge County Fairgrounds and Plymouth Dirt Track on Friday and Saturday, June 2-3.
As hinted, Thiel, driver of Pete Grove’s Walker’s Game Ear, Lumber & Things, Professional Plating, Scott Thiel Builders, Stealth Cam, Muddy Outdoors, Lutes Custom Cabinetry, Linc Systems, No. 70 sprint car, will chase big money and big prestige in the upcoming All Star Circuit of Champions pair in Wisconsin, beginning with Dodge County Fairgrounds’ Gib Wiser Classic on Friday evening, June 2.
Action will continue on Saturday, June 3, with a visit to the always-exciting Plymouth Dirt Track in Plymouth, Wisconsin. The annual Rayce Rudeen Foundation Race, awarding a $26,000 payday, will headline action at the Badger State bullring – the highest paying program on the All Stars’ June agenda. Thiel, a Sheboygan, Wisconsin, native who finished fourth with the All Star Circuit of Champions in his last Wisconsin stay at Wilmot Raceway on May 13, is certainly no stranger to Plymouth Dirt Track, finishing third during the All Star visit in 2022.
“It should be an exciting weekend. It never gets old having the opportunity to compete in front of friends, family, and our Wisconsin-based team partners,” Thiel explained. “It was a tough weekend with the Posse, but that’s just what you’re up against out there. We learned a little bit every night and we’ll use that knowledge when we go back. The goal is to make up for our tough weekend in PA with success in Wisconsin.”
