ODESSA, Mo. (January 1, 2025) – The 2025 season just got a whole lot busier for Doney-Lawson Racing and the Schnee-Lawson Chassis House Cars, as sibling teammates, Xavier Doney and Natalie Doney, are ready to hit the highway, set to join the POWRi Honest Abe Roofing 410 Outlaw Sprint League full-time during the New Year. The schedule, packed with nearly 40 events across nine months, will activate officially with a Texas Motor Speedway doubleheader on Friday and Saturday, February 21-22.
Xavier Doney, certainly no stranger to POWRi competition, finished third in the 2024 Series championship padded by 13 top-ten appearances in 16 feature starts, two of which resulting in top-fives including a victory at Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri. The young man out of Odessa, Missouri, will work to outdo his most recent stat sheet and secure a first-ever POWRi title.
Natalie Doney, who made a handful of 410 sprint car appearances in 2024 in addition to accomplishing multiple top-tens in the 305ci ranks, will chase POWRi Rookie of the Year honors during the new year. The young lady’s highlights run deep with one of her more recent accomplishments equaling a third-place finish in the 305 sprint car main event at Double X Speedway on Sunday, July 21.
All POWRi 410 Sprint League events will offer a minimum payout of $5,000-to-win and $500-to-start. In addition, Doney-Lawson Racing will work to earn a major chunk of the $150,000 point fund, $50,000 of which to be awarded to the champion.
