(January 12, 2024) – The Chili Bowl Nationals will be a week to remember for Shermans Dale, Pennsylvania’s Derek Sheaffer, not only joining in on one of dirt racing’s premier events, but earning the chance rub elbows with some of the most talented competitors in the world, all of whom chasing the coveted Golden Driller. Hard work, dedication, and support make the trek to Tulsa, Oklahoma, possible, and without proud partners such as Shermans Creek Inn and Aviator Financial LLC, Sheaffer’s trip would have stopped at the door.
“It’s been a lot of fun so far, but we’re not done yet. This entire experience wouldn’t be possible without our friends at Shermans Creek Inn and Aviator Financial…it’s their dedication to short track racing that got me here,” Sheaffer, ace of the Steve Buckwalter Racing No. 0S, said. “They each offer unique services, but show pride in what they do. We’re proud to be associated with them and I hope to bring them success on Saturday during the final day of the Chili Bowl.”
