Showtime Presents: ‘PICTURES FOR YOUR THOUGHTS’ – C.J. Jones Back On Top at ‘MRP’

(July 15th, 2013) – C.J. Jones earned his third (3rd) ‘305’/Outlaw Sprint Warrior victory of the 2013 season on Saturday evening, July 13th at the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania. The Cortland, Ohio native started the ‘305’/Outlaw Sprint Warrior sprint car main event at ‘MRP’ from the outside of the second row; charging three positions to take over the top spot, and eventually earning the victory. Jones, who was in action in all parts of Western Pennsylvania this past weekend, actually participated in a ‘410’ sprint car program at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania on Friday evening, July 12th; finishing twelfth (12th), officially, during the 25-lap feature event. The pilot of the familiar First Alert Construction, Michael Owens’ FamousEnergy.com, Bryan Scheidemantle Dodge Jeep, no. 10J ‘305’ sprint car earned the top-twelve finish at the Lernerville Speedway despite being at a huge horsepower disadvantage.
