Showtime Presents: ‘PICTURES FOR YOUR THOUGHTS’ – Rod George Two-In-A-Row at ‘MRP’
(June 17th, 2013) – Western Pennsylvania sprint car veteran and five-time sprint car racing retiree, Rod George, earned a second consecutive ‘410’ sprint car victory on Saturday evening, June 15th at the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania. George earned his second victory in two weeks during the annual ‘Auto Racers For Kids Charity Event’ at the Mercer 3/8’s mile dirt oval; a non-profit and non-points racing event that donates all proceeds towards local and regional children’s charities. George is a multi-time sprint car winner at Mercer Raceway Park, and now owns two at ‘MRP’ in 2013 while driving for Jim Chappel. Scott Priester, Carl Bowser, Jack Sodeman, Jr. and Eric Williams rounded out the top five on June 15th.
