Six Consecutive Race Nights Ahead for ‘Super’ Alan Krimes
Path Valley Speedway Park Visit Later This Evening
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
Denver, PA (June 28th, 2015) – ‘Super’ Alan Krimes will continue his 2015 Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek campaign later this evening, Sunday, June 28th, at the Path Valley Speedway Park near Spring Run, Pennsylvania. After an adjustment in the 25th Annual Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek presented by Jake’s Wayback Burgers schedule due to inclement weather, Krimes will now have the opportunity to race six consecutive nights in Pennsylvania and northern Maryland; competing in each and every scheduled speedweek program with the exception of the last two at Port Royal Speedway and Selinsgrove Speedway. The driver of the Wayne Corini, Krimes Racing Engines, VRP Shocks, no. 87 ‘410’ sprinter opened his 2015 speedweek campaign with a sixth place performance at the Williams Grove Speedway on Friday, June 26th. There are nine dates all together on the Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek schedule; stretching between June 26th and July 5th.
“We have a lot on our plate this week” said Alan Krimes, “Our goal is to stay consistent and potentially put ourselves in a speedweek championship position…there are a lot of great teams out here and most of them will be doing the whole deal…if we are in a good position at the end of the week, then we’ll probably go to Port Royal Speedway and Selinsgrove Speedway on July 4th & 5th…we’ll see what happens.”
Including later this evening, Alan Krimes will visit five different ovals during the next six days. The 2014 Lincoln Speedway ‘410’ sprint car track champion will continue his 2015 Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek trek on Monday, June 29th at the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. Originally scheduled for June 27th, but moved for weather reasons, the Monday Lincoln Speedway visit will be the first of two this week for Alan Krimes. The second Lincoln visit during speedweek will be on Thursday, July 2nd; featuring the $7,000-to-win ‘Kevin Gobrecht Memorial.’ As a heavy speedweek favorite, the Denver, Pennsylvania native is currently second in the Lincoln Speedway track championship standings with one victory, four top-five and ten top-ten finishes to his credit.
Alan Krimes will also join Pennsylvania Sprint Speedweek competition at the Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, June 30th; the Hagerstown Speedway in Hagerstown, Maryland on Wednesday, July 1st; and back at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania on Friday, July 3rd. The second Williams Grove Speedway speedweek visit will feature the $10,000-to-win ‘Mitch Smith Memorial.’
