North Jackson, OH (August 23rd, 2013) – Jack Sodeman Jr. of North Jackson, Ohio will attempt to earn a second $5,000 top prize in less than a week this Saturday evening, August 24th at the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania. The UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions will be invading the Mercer 3/8’s mile oval this Saturday evening; awarding $5,000 to the winner of the ‘410’ sprint car ‘Western PA Sprint Championship’ main event. Sodeman Jr., who recently picked up the $5,000 ‘Lou Blaney Memorial’ victory at the Sharon Speedway in Hartford, Ohio this past Tuesday evening, August 20th, will enter the Mercer Raceway Park gates on Saturday evening will full intentions of defending Western Pennsylvania turf against ‘America’s Series.’

The UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions will bring a full lineup of regional and national talent; including UNOH All Star ‘National’ point leader and multi-time winner, Dale Blaney. Jack Sodeman Jr. faced-off against the invading UNOH All Stars once already in 2013 at the Mercer Raceway Park; resulting in a seventh (7th) place finish during the 30-lap, $5,000 to win main event back on July 6th, 2013. The former Sharon Speedway track champion started the July 6th main event from the inside of the eighth (8th) row.

Jack Sodeman Jr. has plenty of momentum heading into this Saturday’s UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions’ event at the Mercer Raceway Park. The second generation sprint car pilot is on a stretch of four (4) consecutive top-five finishes at four different Western Pennsylvania and Eastern Ohio ovals; including the ‘Lou Blaney Memorial’ victory. Recent results for the Rudzik Racing, Rudzik Excavating, Economy Tooling, no. 94 team include a fourth (4th) place finish at the Lernerville Speedway; a second (2nd) place finish at the Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway; a second (2nd) place finish at the Bedford Fairgrounds Speedway; and a win at the Sharon Speedway; all within a five-day time frame.
