Sprints take center stage with three events in 11 calendar days!
BOSS Wingless Sprints, RUSH Lates & Sportsman this Friday, July 5 just $14!!
Sarver, PA (July 3, 2013) After three amazing days of World of Outlaws Late Model Series action, the attention of the “Finest Race Fans in the World” now turns back to the Sprints! Within an 11-day time span, the 410 Sprints will take center stage starting with this Friday Night’s BOSS Wingless Sprints show.
Then, when Fab Four Racing returns the following Friday, July 12, the Peoples TWP DIRTcar Sprints will be racing with extra incentive as the Budweiser Points leader after the event will have a pre-punched ticket into the dual A-Mains of the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup Twin 30s presented by GottaRace.com on Tuesday, July 16.
The top four in Bud Points – Brandon Spithaler, Jack Sodeman Jr., Eric Williams and Brandon Matus – are separated by a total of 22 points from first to fourth. Spithaler leads Sodeman by 18 points, Williams is three behind Sodeman and Matus is one point behind Williams. Sodeman is already locked into the Twin 30s by virtue of winning the Mid-Season Championship on Friday, June 21.
But before they put the wings back on for Fab Four Racing and the Silver Cup, the Peoples TWP Sprints will take them off this weekend for the Lernerville debut of the BOSS Wingless Sprints; there will NOT be Budweiser Points on the line, but many of the top drivers are expected to compete including Brandon Spithaler, Brandon Matus and Scott Priester.
For the first time in recent history, and perhaps ever, the Late Models will also go topless at Lernerville Speedway as the RUSH Dirt Late Model Touring Series goes “Off with the Tops” for the weekend both at Lernerville Friday Night and again at Sharon Speedway on Saturday Night; all in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.
Recent Precise Super Late Model feature winner Mike Pegher Jr. will be behind the wheel of the #1 Cochran Crate Late Model this Friday Night along with fellow former Pure Stock Champion Butch Lambert and rising stars Joe Martin, Colton Flinner and Josh Holtgraver. Pegher leads the Touring Series points and has three wins in six races so far this season.
Corey McPherson and the Millerstown Pic-A-Part DIRTcar Sportsman will be back in Action Friday Night as well. A lot of the drivers were in attendance last weekend for the Firecracker 100 festivities and are chomping at the bit to get back in the driver’s seat after a much deserved weekend off! McPherson leads the Bud Points on the strength of four feature wins already in 2013 including each of the past two Fast Fridays of Fab Four Racing on June 14 & 21. AJ Flick and Mike Miller each have a feature win to their credit this season and have been right in McPherson’s wake most nights and currently ride second and third in points respectively.
Despite the special show, Fab Four Pricing will be in affect with adult general admission at just $14, $10 for seniors, $7 for students 11-17 years old and as always, kids 10 & under are admitted FREE into general admission. Pit prices also remain at $20 for DIRTcar & RUSH members and $30 for non-members.
Tickets for the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup Twin 30s presented by GottaRace.com are available 24/7 at Lernerville.com and all Advance Reserved tickets include a FREE fan pit pass upgrade. Adult tickets are $39 and $31 for students/children 17 & under. Kids 10 & under will still be admitted FREE into general admission, but the FREE general admission tickets are NOT eligible for the FREE fan pit pass upgrade; this offer is for Advance Reserved tickets only!
