Stambaugh earns podium during Atomic Speedway season championship
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
ELIDA, Ohio (October 8, 2018) – Max Stambaugh and car owner Shannon Eifert continue to show speed, not only earning success in the Wolverine State where the duo own two victories in 2018, but also attaining success during starts in southern Ohio.
Stambaugh, driver of the Shannon Eifert-owned/Home Pro Roofing/Bulldog Consulting/Quality Aluminum Products/No. 51 sprint car, finished on the podium during his recent visit to the Buckeye State, wrapping up Atomic Speedway’s season championship program on October 6 with a third place finish after starting on the outside of the front row.
“It was a solid night. It felt good to be back at Atomic Speedway,” Max Stambaugh said, who has been focusing on a ‘true outlaw’ schedule mixed with 360 and 410 starts in 2018. “I can’t thank Shannon Eifert enough for making the trip to southern Ohio on Saturday. We’ve been clicking really well. I think our worst finish during our last four or five starts is a seventh place, so I’ll take that. We’ll try to keep that success story going this weekend.”
Up next on the schedule, Stambaugh and Eifert will enter the Fall Brawl at I-96 Speedway in Lake Odessa, Mich., on Saturday, October 13. The season-ending program will feature 360 sprint car competition – Stambaugh’s point of focus for the Saturday night showcase. ‘Mad Max’ owns one victory at I-96 in 2018, that occurring during Sprints On Dirt (SOD) action back on September 21.
