Stambaugh scores third win of season during action at Butler Motor Speedway
By Fully Injected Motorsports:
ELIDA, Ohio (September 10, 2018) – Max Stambaugh has been tough to beat in the Wolverine State in 2018, and that proved true yet again on Saturday, September 8, during his visit to Butler Motor Speedway in Butler, Michigan.
Stambaugh, who piloted the Shannon Eifert-owned, Home Pro Roofing-backed entry during his visit to the ‘Butler Battlegrounds,’ put on a dominating display, ultimately leading all 25 circuits of the 410c.i. main event to secure his third feature victory of the 2018 season. ‘Mad Max’ Stambaugh now owns two victories in Michigan this season, the first accomplished during Great Lakes Super Sprints (GLSS) action at Crystal Motor Speedway.
“I can’t thank Shannon Eifert enough for this opportunity. It was a last minute decision, for the most part. Usually the last minute decisions work out the best for me,” Stambaugh explained, who normally pilots his own Wicked Cushion/Lima Cadillac Chevrolet/Biggies Coast to Coast/Schaeffer Racing Oil/Triple JJJ/No. 5M sprint car. “This ‘ride hopping’ routine i’ve been practicing lately will continue next weekend as I plan to visit Ohsweken with Jared Horstman.”
Max Stambaugh will continue his 2018 season with the Canadian Sprint Car Nationals at Ohsweken Speedway on Thursday through Saturday, September 13-15. Rejoining Jared Horstman Racing for the trip to Ontario, Stambaugh will chase the Nationals top prize equaling $10,000.
