‘Steel City Stampede’ Will Conclude Jared Miley’s 2014 Season

Pittsburgh, PA (October 22nd, 2014) – Hopefully luck will finally play in Jared Miley’s favor. After missing a second consecutive weekend of competition due to issues outside of the racing community, Jared Miley and the entire Jared Miley Racing, Colussy Chevrolet, Octane Graphix, Brougher’s Machine Shop, Rocket Chassis, FullyInjected.com, no. H1 super late model team will be back in action this Thursday, Friday and Saturday, October 23rd, 24th & 25th at the Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pennsylvania. Miley will take part in Lernerville Speedway’s final event of the 2014 season; the DIRTcar Roundup ‘Steel City Stampede.’ The ‘Steel City Stampede’ will feature a full super late model program over a three-day time period, which begins with a full practice session on Thursday evening. Heat race competition will be conducted on Friday evening, with feature action taking shape on Saturday evening, October 25th. A $3,000 top prize will be awarded, along with a signature ‘Steel City Stampede’ belt buckle, to the main event winner.
“We were on our way to the ‘Dirt Track World Championship’ last weekend, but had to turn around halfway due to some issues back home” explained Matt Miley; Jared Miley’s brother and team crew chief, “Everything is good to go now and we’ll be back on track this weekend…we are anxious to get back to work…we still have some momentum on our side, so hopefully we can use that to our advantage this weekend…Lernerville Speedway has been really good to us, so we are ready to get back there.”
Jared Miley has three victories at the Lernerville Speedway in 2014, and will hunt for a fourth and final win this Saturday night. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native, who is also a former Lernerville Speedway track champion, has nine total victories during feature competition this season, with his most recent victory occurring at the Eriez Speedway near Erie, Pennsylvania on Saturday, September 27th. Miley is also a former DIRTcar Roundup ‘Steel City Stampede’ champion.
“The ‘Steel City Stampede’ is one of our favorites…we always enjoy spending the weekend at Lernerville” said Matt Miley, “We will have a lot of fans there, and a lot of friends, so hopefully we can earn win number ten of the season this weekend!”
