WESTERN CHAMPS CELEBRATE FEB. 7 IN PASO ROBLES
USAC’s 59th “Night of Champions” National Awards Dinner is scheduled for Friday night, December 12, at the Indiana Roof Ballroom in downtown Indianapolis, Ind. Champions of USAC’s 2014 racing series will be honored during the gala evening. Kody Swanson of Kingsburg, Calif. won the USAC Silver Crown Championship while Brady Bacon of Broken Arrow, Okla. captured the AMSOIL National Sprint Car title. The Honda National Midget Championship went to Rico Abreu of Rutherford, Calif. The affair will be held again this year in conjunction with the Performance Racing Industry Trade Show (PRI), which will be held December 11-13 at the Indiana Convention Center, located just one block south of the banquet facility. Numerous other performance awards are also part of the ceremonies as well as special recognition awards. USAC’s Honda .25 Midget “Generation Next” National Champions will also be featured at the banquet, which gets underway with a cocktail hour at 6 pm and dinner to follow at 7. The .25 champions will be headlined the following night, January 13, at the “Showcase of Champions” in the NCAA Hall of Champions in downtown Indianapolis. Tickets for the banquet are priced at $60 each. Renowned broadcaster Pat Sullivan will again serve as this year’s emcee. The Indiana Roof Ballroom is located at 140 W. Washington Street in downtown Indianapolis. USAC’s Western racing champions will celebrate their 2014 accomplishments on February 7 at the Woodland Auto Display in Paso Robles, Calif.
